A short Knightmare fanfic by Andrew Buckley, published on NKTP in August 2000. Mortally injured by a troll, Pickle's dying wish is to see his old friend Treguard one last time. An archived copy of the story can be read here.
The scene is briefly revisited in The Void Of Creativity; when Lucy expresses disapproval at "poor Pickle" having been killed off, Andrew promises to write a sequel "bringing him back to life". The follow-up was entitled In The Afterlife, Nobody Can Hear You Scream.
